Australian theme

The weather was all cloudy today. But anyway it motivated us to finally starting on some of our assignments instead of basking in the sun all day. So far we have only got two assignments from school and then we have the Business Case, which our Danish teachers at home want us to finish while being in Australia, so we are ready to present when coming home.

In English class we discussed what describes the Australian identity. We divided it into history, culture and land. I notated all the words that I associate with the Australian identity from experiences and impressions - really funny task.

Sophie, Peggy and Don's daughter, came over today to have dinner with us. She is 21 and has a really bad Australian accent, so Ida and I sometimes have to listen carefully when speaking with her. And vice verse she thinks we have a really American accent and use "American" terms that she does not know.

Dinner: Deep-fried chicken, potato chips, chili dressing and salad

  1. Din værtsfamilie ser rare ud og jeres hus og værelser er fine. Alle tiders, at I har enkeltværelse. Oma
