Excursion - Binna Burra Mountain Walk

Today was activity day, as we have every week. This time we were driven up to the beautiful Binna Burra Mountains to a place called Lamington National Park.

We started at the top and took walked 5 kilometres down the mountain. The mountain was covered by a jungle of trees.

Yesterday our teachers and hostfamily warned us about the nasty insects that live in the area we will walk through. Especially leeches and ticks (Igler og flåter) :-O

- So I took no chance but wearing a long-sleeved shirt, boots and anti-insect spray form top to toe!

Afterwards Ida went to the Southport with some friends and I went home with Kirstine and Helena to their place. The sun was really shining today so we jumped in our swimwear and got some tan. Especially Kirstine has some tan to catch up on from the two first weeks she was not here.

Dinner: Fried beef, tomato/chilli sauce, salad and watermelon
